At Glenn Beck’s ‘Restoring Honor’ rally this past Saturday in Washington, D.C, a group of black Conservatives were approached by liberals who think they know best what African Americans should do and think.
One says “What happened to your African religion? You’re supposed to be Muslim.” Then, one of the tolerant liberals drops a word-bomb with a splash of racism, “Christianity is a white man’s religion.”
Leave it to the sheeple debating these guys who believe everything they are told as the absolute truth. For buying into political correctness in history, they sure don’t hold PC highly while claiming that Christianity is a white mans religion. Double standard much?
By the way, where was the racism from the ‘crazy right-wing fringe extremists that don’t represent a majority of America” crowd at Beck’s rally?
Not only did Gibb’s dance around questions regarding Obama’s past statements–and opposition– for the successful surge in Iraq, he was also asked 6 times if Bush would get any credit for Iraq. Not surprisingly, it’s answered in typical Gibbs fashion.
In 2007, Obama said: The 20,000 troop surge “will not in any imaginable way be able to accomplish any new progress“.
This was old a long time ago, now it’s just downright annoying- not to mention ineffective.
On August 30, President Barack Obama talked about his administrations ‘focus’ on the economy after meeting with his economic team. Of course, there’s no shortage of blaming Bush within the speech– or technical difficulties.
Apparently after the difficulties, the people gathered could not hear what he was saying, but Obama insisted the press could and continued anyways.
In an interview with NBC’s Brian Williams, President Obama reinforced his position on the Ground Zero mosque. In typical Obama fashion, he blamed the media for the mis-understanding of his initial remarks.
Of course, we all know nothing is his fault…
However, despite Obama defending his position, it still puts him at odds with Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid who called for relocation. Howard Dean also came out in support of the mosque being moved. As are 71% of Americans who are saying it’s “inappropriate” to put a mosque at Ground Zero.
Benjamin Jealous, president of the NAACP, told Eyeblast.tv at Al Sharpton’s ‘Reclaiming the Dream’ rally at Dunbar High School in Washington, D.C.– a counter protest to Glenn Beck’s ‘Restoring Honor’ rally held on the same day from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s ‘I Have A Dream’ speech–that if you were to read King’s speech to the crowd in attendance at Beck’s rally, no one would applaud.
“I have a feeling if someone stood up and read Dr. King’s speech to that crowd, it would not get applause”, Jealous said.
I haven’t paid much attention to the numbers the mainstream media is saying attended the Glenn Beck ‘Restoring Honor’ rally yesterday at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., but I’d guesstimate it’s somewhere around 500-1000 people given their track record on previous ‘estimates’. (note: that’s sarcasm directed at the media’s reporting of the first 9/12 march last year.)
This is a photo I first saw on Twitter, and since I’ve seen it floating around elsewhere. I thought I’d share it with everyone just in case you haven’t seen it.
I did leave the rally early and headed over to Al Sharpton’s ‘Reclaiming the Dream’ rally in hopes of getting an interview with him. Unfortunately, his bodyguard told me he wasn’t doing interviews.
Despite all the talk from the NBPP president, Malik Shabazz, on how he was going to crash Glenn Beck’s rally– he didn’t even show up to Sharpton’s event. Looks like Shabazz is full of bark, and carries little bite. Read More
Last week, we went to the site of the Ground Zero Mosque– which is located just two blocks away from the WTC site– and interviewed the Imam’s close friend and security guard on whether Imam Rauf ever clarified his comments made about U.S. policies as the reason for the attacks; he responded saying the Imam doesn’t have to.
Given this ‘get out of jail for free’ card, lets look at one example of how illegal immigrants drive up costs and how this would be completely unfair, not only to U.S. citizens who pay into the system, but also those who come to the U.S. legally.
One year ago, Carol Plato, an executive director of Martin Memorial Medical Center in Florida, gave a briefing on the specific costs and liabilities hospitals incur when they knowingly treat illegal immigrants.
Besides hearing the outrageous itemized costs that Carol lists, even more outrageous is that one of the illegal immigrants treated was deported — after racking up millions of dollars in legal fees– and is now suing the hospital.
Our favorite constitution disregarding congressman is back again. Guess what hes doing now? Yup, disregarding the constitution.
Well I guess, to be fair, he is disregarding and disparaging his constituent’s concerns that the Obamacare mandate is unconstitutional. So maybe that’s different. Here, watch this, you decide (h/t Gateway Pundit):
The Media Research Center interviewed New Yorkers about their thoughts on the proposed Ground Zero Mosque located just two blocks away from the World Trade Center site. Overall, 63% of Americans oppose the mosque– here is what local residents have to say:
