We usually have drug tests to make sure people are NOT taking drugs, but Rep. Weiner should have a test to make sure he has taken his "properly prescribed" meds every time he enters Congress. This attitude and behavior should be a call for disciplinary action. We would not tolerate this from a child, much less someone who has his perks on the taxpayer's dollar!

They voted on everything this passed, and Republicans used the safety net of taking money from other programs, in order to pass other programs they wanted. They use us the taxpayers, and smile and say they represent us. It is amazing what little common sense, on either side of the isle is left. We are a Republic. Everyone, even the nuts, have a vote. Weiner was using a PR stunt. They had the votes, he knew that...but what he was after was trying to make himself look like he was standing his ground...he wasn't. This is why term limits need to be put in Congress, to get rid of these idiots that pander to the camera. They wanna help? Get rid of their automatic pay raises they voted in many years ago...and take a pay cut like most Americans who have a job have had to do. Democrats say everyone deserves a house, fine pass a law saying only one house per citizen (that ought to shut them up), say we can't have a fence? Pass a law all fences are to be taken down (that would shut them up too...and hollywood). As nutty as that sounds, if you look at some of the Progressive laws being passed, that would make more common sense than 12 hour school days, 2 years manditory government work for teens through 42 year olds and all the global warming bills their trying to pass on FEELINGS and not FACTS.

As best as I can tell from Rep. King, the Democrats were afraid to allow amendments, so they brought the bill to the floor under some rule that required a 2/3 vote. If they had allowed amendments and brought the bill to the floor in a normal manner, it would have passed. What Wiener and his gang were afraid of that required this special rules seems to still be a secret.

This, BTW, is not the first time Wiener has come unglued. He seems to have a propensity for it.
