Deval Patrick Reacts To Beck Rally: “It’s a Free Country, I Wish It Weren’t”
Gov. Deval Patrick of Massachusetts said in response to the Glenn Beck ‘Restoring Honor’ rally that it’s a free country, and that he’s not all that happy about that fact. Patrick said “It’s a free country, I wish it weren’t.
The clip was posted by Michael Graham from Boston’s WTKK in which the Gov. was answering a question about the rally. It’s beyond me how any public official could ever spew something that politically dumb without an ounce of thought about it– or even thinking for a second what they are saying is, well, absolutely crazy.

According to Lee’s website, this is a video of the hostage taker, James Jay Lee, throwing money in the air in Silver Springs, MD. The YouTube video is dated as March 3, 2010. The person who shot this video wrote:
While walking to get lunch while on my break from work, I looked around to see a mob of people flocking back and forth from one area of the downtown Silver Spring area to the next. As I walked more, I saw money being thrown up into the air..! To this day, I still don’t know what exactly happened, so hopefully with this video being online, I can find out!
Update: The man in this video who was throwing money is also the gunman of the recent (Happening as I update this) shooting and hostage situation at the Discovery Building in downtown Silver Spring, MD. Quite crazy!
Thanks to Verum Serum, here is another video of a title sequence he created for his proposed Discovery channel show.
UPDATE: Here are some of the crazy online ramblings of James Jay Lee.

Right now there is a man who has taken hostages at the Discovery Channel’s building in Silver Spring, Maryland. I’m watching Fox News for the latest updates on what is unfolding. Here is their story on FoxNews.com. (UPDATE: reports are that Lee has been shot by police and the hostages have been released safely)
His name is being reported as James Jay Lee and he has a long history of hating the Discovery channel that is well documented online. For starters there is this DCist post from January 2008 about this guy’s protest against the Discovery channel. They basically mock him for being a nut because of this insane manifesto he posted online around the same time.
That insane manifesto includes a list of demands that includes this:
Read MoreMan Detained By Police For Open Carry
I came across this video yesterday and I thought it was interesting. Apparently at a small town in Maine the police were called because somebody was openly carrying a gun around town. Here is the exchange:
After the first listen this video seems pretty simple. The police acted within the law even if they were a bit overeager to get this guy’s name. Plus, who can blame the cops for wanting to know the guy’s name? They got a call about him carrying a gun around and even if that’s not illegal it still makes sense that they’d want some basic information about the guy.
Liberals Decry Black Conservatives At Beck’s Restoring Honor Rally; “Christianity Is A White Man’s Religion”
At Glenn Beck’s ‘Restoring Honor’ rally this past Saturday in Washington, D.C, a group of black Conservatives were approached by liberals who think they know best what African Americans should do and think.
One says “What happened to your African religion? You’re supposed to be Muslim.” Then, one of the tolerant liberals drops a word-bomb with a splash of racism, “Christianity is a white man’s religion.”
Leave it to the sheeple debating these guys who believe everything they are told as the absolute truth. For buying into political correctness in history, they sure don’t hold PC highly while claiming that Christianity is a white mans religion. Double standard much?
By the way, where was the racism from the ‘crazy right-wing fringe extremists that don’t represent a majority of America” crowd at Beck’s rally?
That’s right. There wasn’t any.

On Saturday we sent our own Joe Schoffstall to see what exactly Al Sharpton’s counter rally was all about. He was able to get an interview with Ben Jealous, NAACP President, about the Sharpton rally as well as the Restoring Honor rally. Jealous claimed that those at Restoring Honor wouldn’t applaud MLK. On today’s show Beck took notice and defended the Restoring Honor rally attendees.
I wonder if Ben Jealous will publicly retract his smear against the Restoring Honor participants? I won’t hold my breath…

Via Townhall.com and Breitbart.tv:
Not only did Gibb’s dance around questions regarding Obama’s past statements–and opposition– for the successful surge in Iraq, he was also asked 6 times if Bush would get any credit for Iraq. Not surprisingly, it’s answered in typical Gibbs fashion.
In 2007, Obama said: The 20,000 troop surge “will not in any imaginable way be able to accomplish any new progress“.

This was old a long time ago, now it’s just downright annoying- not to mention ineffective.
On August 30, President Barack Obama talked about his administrations ‘focus’ on the economy after meeting with his economic team. Of course, there’s no shortage of blaming Bush within the speech– or technical difficulties.
Apparently after the difficulties, the people gathered could not hear what he was saying, but Obama insisted the press could and continued anyways.
